니케아 신경 (Nicene Creed)-A.D.325

 

우리는 한 분 하나님, 

        전능하신 성부를 믿습니다. 

그분은 하늘과 땅, 

        보이는 것과 보이지 않는 모든 것을 창조하신 분입니다. 

 

우리는 또한 한 분 주님

        예수 그리스도를 믿습니다. 

그분은 하나님의 독생자이시고 

        만세(萬世) 전에 성부에게서 나신 분이며, 

하나님에게서 나신 하나님, 

        빛에서 나신 빛, 

        참하나님에게서 나신 참하나님이십니다. 

그분은  지으심을 받지 않으셨고

        성부와 동일 본질이시며, 

그분으로 말미암아

        만물이 창조되었습니다. 

그분은 우리 인생들과 우리의 구원을 위하여 

        하늘로서 내려오셨고, 

성령으로 동정녀 마리아에게서 육신을 취하여 

        사람이 되셨습니다. 

그분은 우리를 위하여 본디오 빌라도 아래에서 십자가에 달리시고, 

        고난을 받으시고 장사되셨고, 

성경대로 사흗날에 부활하셨고, 

하늘에 오르셨고 

성부 우편에 앉아 계십니다. 

그리고 그분은 살아 있는 자들과 죽은 자들을 심판하러 

        영광 가운데 다시 오실 것이고, 

        그분의 나라는 영원무궁할 것입니다. 

 

우리는 또한 성령님, 

        곧 주님이시고 생명의 수여자이신 분을 믿습니다. 

그분은 성부와 성자에게서 나오시고, 

        성부와 성자와 함께 경배와 영광을 받으시는 분이며, 

        선지자들을 통하여 말씀하신 분입니다.

또한 하나이고 거룩하고 

        보편적이고 사도적인 교회를 우리는 믿습니다. 

죄 사함을 위한 하나의 세례를 고백하고, 

죽은 자들의 부활과 

        내세의 생명을 기다립니다. 아멘. 

 

Nicene Creed

 

We believe in on God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

 

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father.

Through Him all things were made.

 

For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven; He became inccarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made human.

He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried.

The third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures.

 

He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.

 

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father and the Son, and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.

He spoke through the prophets.

 

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church.

We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come.
